Well in fact they were commissioned to make this soundtrack for the color re-make of the Georges Méliès film.

Elle a été composée pour la ressortie en salle, en version couleur, du film de 1902 de Georges Méliès Le Voyage dans la Lune.

I'm having trouble finding the full version of the re-make but here is a clip with their music.
