There is difference between religion and spirituality.
Religion is specific set of organised beliefs and practices, usually shared by a particular community.
Whereas spirituality is more of an individual who practice it, and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose. It also relates to the process of developing beliefs around the meaning of life and connection with others. It has nothing to do with religion. Even an atheist can be a spiritual while do not believing in any religion or god.

You may call yourself combination of religious and spiritual, but being religious doesn’t automatically make you spiritual, or vice versa.

Life is full of ups and downs, goodand bad. Many people see spirituality as a great way to seek comfort and peace in their mind. It can often be practised things like yoga, meditation which ultimately focus on relief of stress and release of emotions.
