Psychedelic resurrection is on the way helping the humanity to take a leap towards 'The Golden Era'

There has been a lot of discussions about the new ''Golden era'' and what it will bring on a global scale. As it can be seen, Steemit could be a new face of bringing information forwarding to a new level as it helps reaching lots of valuable knowledge to many innovative minds. The post I will be making will be about Psychedelic integration into our culture with the help on understanding the basics of how mind-altering substances can help an individual to became a being with more objective understanding of himself and the environment, eliminating the heart-mind deception.

What are psychedelics and what is the main component in them that makes people more empathic towards each other?

According to Wikipedia - a psychedelic is a psychoactive drug whose primary action is to alter cognition and perception, typically by agonising serotonin receptors. Psychotropic substances have the ability to change the perception of an individual mind in a way that is traditionally not accepted. When a person ingests substances like LSD, Psilocybin Mushrooms or DMT he takes a leap from ordinary states of conciousness into a more complex world that is a different from the world that he perceives on a continual basis. In that, there is a possibility to bring new understanding into concepts like life and death, ego, self-image etc. when it is done in controlled set and setting. 

The main component that alters our image of the world is serotonin which is neurotransmitter that blasts certain types of electrical impulses through our whole brain which leads to altered sensory, perceptual processing and uncontrolled memory retrieval. This can be helpful in resolving childhood traumas, experiencing ectasy, feeling oneness with all creation and unconditional love, have visions of the future, bringing new ideas and concepts to a mind's eye with addition of destroying cultural ideologies and conditioned thought patterns.



What have psychedelics given to a society on a larger scale?

In the ancient times many indigenous cultures used psychedelics like peyote and mescaline in a form of healing. There was usually one shaman/medicine man per community (it varies regionally) who had the knowledge of how to execute the rituals to go into trance and help himself get in contact with nature and spirits rounding them on a deeper level. On a level that is not seen, but felt and through that help the people in need. 

The first human beings lived in tribes where these kinds of rituals were taking place on a continual pace for not to forget the roots and what is the reason of existance. For thousands of years we have lived among with these amazing plants giving us strenght and healing in desperate times bringing ourselves to a more profound connetion with every living creature on this planet. Living in harmony was the main thing for ancient people because they understood that every human soul is priceless and unique and all their attitude was based on that.

We see in today's world how much greed, hatred and fear there is. The main components of living a happy life are missing - lack of love, compassion and gratitude. Our lives are measured by our paycheck and grades. The routine of a working class ant is killing the will to live as we have forgotten how and why we are living the lives we do. What is the mission? Psychedelics have the ability to help each and every one of you understand the basic questions of life that haven't been answered thousands of years because to answer the questions - What happens after death, what am I here for, what is truth and who am I can not be intellectualy answered but only through the means of feeling and understanding. That's why it is hard to describe the experiences people have when they taste the glimpse of god - not the kind of god that traditional catholic church is telling but the god that can not be conceptualised because how can nothingness be nothingness. When we say it is everything and nothing we make the nothing already something... ahh you just have to discover this realm yourself.
