Syria: People Celebrate Downing of ‘Invincible American Tomahawks’
In the West, we are told the US, England, and France successfully struck several targets in Syria over the weekend of April 14, 2018 in response to alleged chemical attacks by Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. But American's living in Syria are saying otherwise. People living in Syrian right now are saying that Syria had been preparing for an attack from the US for a long time. They also do not believe the allegations made by the West that Bashar Al-Assad had used chemical weapons on his own people.
Early Saturday morning, they awoke to the sounds of explosions. They ran outside of their houses and looked up to see the sky illuminated, but nothing actually hit the ground.
According to the Syrian government, Syria launched their own missiles which intercepted 71 out of the 103 Tomahawk Cruise missiles aimed at Syria.
After the failed attack, Syrians took to the streets to celebrate. They are united in support of their President Bashar Al-Assad.
I have no idea what happened. I wasn't there, but what do you think? Does anyone have any more information on this?
