Steemit Campus Invasion: Second Meet-up With @destinysaid In Preparation For the Steemit Campus Invasion Coming up Soon in Uniben.

In the spirit of Steemit Campus Invasion which will be coming up soon in our Campus(University of Benin) . We met with @destinysaid again to discuss plans on how the Steemit Campus Invasion will be held in our campus and how to build the steemit community in Uniben.

The meeting didn't have in attendance a lot of Uniben Steemians because it wasn't much of a meet-up but a meeting in preparation for the upcoming Steemit Campus Invasion. Also, today is school day and most guys were engaged with a lot of school activities. All the issues discussed will be relayed to other members via our whatsapp group.

In attendance were @destinysaid (founder of africaunchained), @kingeazi( the Uniben Steem Rapper), @etemi, @gracehills, @danpete, @martzpro, @motivatorjoshua, @voiled25th, @epaphrasdaniel, and @kparoboo.

Issues Discussed

The meeting which began around some minutes past 6pm started with the various agenda to be tackled in the course of the meeting.
First was on how to build the existing Uniben Steemit community, second on the list was the publicity of Steemit to every students in Uniben and lastly the preparation on how and when the Steemit Campus Invasion (SCI) should be held.

Going into the main discussions @destinysaid talked about the relevance of building ourselves as a campus community and suggests ways in which we could help ourselves and also help those who will be joining us in the course of the publicity and orientation of new members.
In our first meeting when the community was formed we all agreed to create an official steemit account for the Uniben community. After the meeting an account was created by me and got approved days later, You can check it out here www.steemit.com/@steemuniben. The account will be used to post our promotion activities done on campus and also we will be featuring different posts from Uniben Steemians to help sustain our promotion work and build up the Uniben Steemit Community. All these suggestions were made today and it has been received in good faith by all. There's no post on the official uniben account for now but we are working on dropping an introductory post to usher in the Uniben Community officially and other posts from Uniben Steemians subsequently.

On publicity, suggestions were dropped on how to make the goodnews go viral and @gracehills suggested on the online promotion of steemit using Uniben bloggers who write stuffs about Uniben and also offline promotion like the printing of flyers and t-shirts. The flyers will be distributed to students around the campus while we rock our steemit t-shirts while the Uniben bloggers(who will be later incorporated into steemit) make steemit go viral online on their Uniben blogs.

Finally on the Steemit Campus Invasion, The campus invasion would have been held this March but a specific date hasn't been selected because of the semester exams but we look forward to organising it between March and April. Measures are still been put in place to ensure we have a smooth running of the events, we talked about halls to be used, musical instruments and the creation of a steemit banner to get more attention.
The meeting ended with us taking pictures and catching up with our fellow steemians.

We are young students who want to break the barriers of unemployment and dependent on our government for jobs with the blockchain technology(Steem blockchain in particular). On our own we can't do much, the support of all steemians will be appreciated, financial, moral support and words of advice on how to make this movement a success.
