Basically, proponents of this conspiracy theory claim that NASA is planning together with the United Nations to introduce New Age religion to the citizens of the world, which will be led by the Antichrist. Both Messiahs through the use of sophisticated and confidential holographic technology, the public will have no choice but to embrace the New World Order planned by these faceless organizations.

This complicated theory was developed in the 1990s by a Canadian journalist and conspiracy theorist named Serge Monast. He then published his belief in NASA's plan to take over the world by conducting lectures in the mid-1990s and by publishing his book entitled "Project Blue Beam (NASA)" in 1994.

According to Monast: "Without universal belief in the religion of the new age, the success of the new world order would be impossible!" He believed that without religion, the dictatorial government in the new world planned by NASA would not have the chance to succeed. To complete this stage of the conspiracy, NASA will use highly sophisticated laser technology to project three-dimensional optical holograms in various regions of the Earth. These holographic images will resemble the appearance of the most dominant deity in a particular region and are able to speak all languages. Before this "space show" ends, the holograms of these gods will turn into a single god - the Antichrist.

Monast mentioned in his book that the purpose of this new "One God" holographic staging is to dissolve the world social order and cause religious disturbances on a large scale. Nations will turn against one another, and there will be political anarchy and chaos compounded by several global disasters. Riots will convince people to erase all religions and support the Antichrist in making way for the "golden age" of mankind.

This requires deceiving people into thinking that their god communicates with them through telepathy. In fact, this "artificial thinking" has just been transmitted to each individual through low frequency radio waves.

This stage of the plan requires three types of orientation.

The first orientation is to convince the public that the world will be attacked by extraterrestrials. Because of the great threat to human existence, every major country will feel compelled to counterattack using nuclear weapons. The second orientation involves leading Christians to believe that Rapture is in them, while the third involves a combination of "electronic and supernatural forces." Those who choose to believe that there are some truths in Monast's accusations about NASA, the United Nations and the Blue Beam Project have raised some evidence to support their claims. First is suspicious death from supporters who research Project Blue Beam. Serge Monast and an unnamed journalist working on the same theory died of a heart attack in a few weeks with each other. None of them is said to have a history of heart disease in their family, and it is believed they were killed by a Canadian government order to prevent them from continuing their investigation.

Recent unusual events have also been raised by these believers as evidence that Project Blue Beam does exist. For example, in June 2017, around 2,000 people in various parts of the United States reported seeing very bright lights, and colored lights appeared in the night sky. They look very similar to UFOs floating on our planet as if they were going to invade. In the end, NASA claimed responsibility for the incident because of the colorful artificial clouds in the sky allegedly produced by the agent's "Malemute" rocket.

This idea did not appear in the 1970s, but was eventually reworked as a plot for the episode "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in the 1990s.

At this point, Project Blue Beam has been widely disputed not only by mainstream scientists but also in the unconventional theoretic community because the alleged Monast raises doubts about the existence of other disputed phenomena such as supernatural beings and extraterrestrials.
