WARRIORS SEASON NOT GETTING EASIER
Seventh placed Murdoch Warriors will take on top of the table Fremantle Futsal Club in the opening game of round eight of the Pro Futsal, WA State Futsal League this Friday night. The action will be livestreamed from 7.50pm through the WA State Futsal League's Facebook page.
The Warriors are coming off a solid draw with one time league leaders Cockburn EWA and will be buoyed by that result, having one just once in their first seven games this season. Former Perth United veteran Marco Tommasetti has added some maturity to the Warriors, who have been criticised this season for not settling in to some sort of rhythm as early as some would have liked.
While the Warriors do have enough quality to trouble Fremantle, it would be a brave soul to tip against Fremantle notching up their sixth win of the season. Their only "blemish" to date was an upset loss to the inspired Spearwood Lions in round four.
Fremantle, with the likes of Neves, Mesquita, Tidy and more look to have this one in the bag, but the Warriors are always an outside chance of an upset, and have given Fremantle some trouble over the years, knocking them out of finals and causing headache for the men in black.
