Pride or Confidence?

It is quite easy to imagine that those who have enjoyed or are enjoying success have never known suffering. But of course you’ll be misled.

There are happy days for sad people and sad days for happy people. It revolves like the sun around the earth. Here at daytime, gone by night.

I come off as a very confident and smooth talking person, but it wasn't so at a certain point in my life. I was a very timid growing youth. I had a detestable character and attitude and was fairly disliked.

Some months ago, I told a lady that I wasn't this outspoken and confident person that she sees now but she doubted it. Of course, MANY people have tagged me as proud but I wish they were there when I was starting out life.

I have known suffering in many areas of my life that the success I am now enjoying feels like I haven't broken a sweat before.
