Does your heart beat extra-fast when it's your turn next to give a presentation? Does going infront of many people scare you?
Well, it happend all affirmative to me. But i gave presentation till i totally overcomed it. And here i have some experiences that really made me a good presentor now.
Firstly, get a topic and search about it everywhere you can have reach upto. Collect every materials in organized way. Read all of them and understand the whole thing. Feel everything you are going no need for explaination. (For example, In paints lead toxicity is a life threatening problem. You gotta feel it as of your own). Just be serious about it and search for the solutions or you can expose your creativity that fits.Provide every content with more of research and little of creativity. Creativity is what makes the psresentation unique than other.
Now, time to make slides. Use very very short sentences with appropriate image in each of the slides. Remember that, sentences need to be short but explaination must be long enough to keep it interesting .
Finally, its time to present your presentation. You must be fresh, well dressed, and most importantly; confident. While going through the presentation you need to have a good body language with a frequent smile, fluency with a timely pause, and a good sense of humour. In fact, humourous environment is all you need to create during your relatively boring topics.
When the content of slides become serious, now you need to be really serious. You will have to present those types of contents by being soft and facial expression mild serious.
Then, as the slide changes, you need to change your mood and create different vibes around by acting differently as needed.
I think that, when you say something, you actually need to feel it and mean it. This is the key to make presentation as easy as breathing.
