Why "Praying The WORD?"

The WORD is the BIBLE we carry about, take to the Church or use at home.
Many of us do not know the Power therein.
1 We Pray the WORD because JESUS is the Word that God spoke into existence.
2 The Word is the Attributes of God.
3 The Word is God Himself.
4 The Word is the Being of God.
5 The Word is the Strength of God.
6 The Word is the Weapon of God.
7 The Word is the Existence of God.
8 The Word is the Carrier of God.
9 The Word is the Creator of all things.
10 The Word is the Obedience of God.
11 The Word is the Humility of God.
12 The Word is the Works of God.
13 The Word is the Power of God.
14 The Word is the Life of God.
15 The Word is the Emergence of God.
16 The Word is the all in all, the Eternal, the Everlasting.

A Prayer Group in Nigeria, courtesy - Intercessors For Nigeria, taught many of us the act of praying the Word. It makes praying easy and interesting. It makes you love the Word. It makes you not get tired of praying.

It is the holding of your Bible and turning every verse of the Scriptures into prayers.
Many of us only use the Bible once a week, and that is on Sunday Service. After Service we dump it in the bookshelf till another Sunday Service. This kind of action makes us powerless. That is why a Christian adage says a Prayerless Christian, is a Powerless Christian.
May the zeal of the LORD consume us to be able to do the right thing at the right time.
