Pray the right way.

You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it on your lusts.
James 4:3

Inspiration:
The enemy's strategy to deceive us is to make us doubt God's faithfulness in answering our prayers; therefore, we end up becoming unbelieving, that is, having negative thoughts that will ignite in us, so our prayers are not answered when:
When our prayers are not in accordance with the will of God, "If we ask for something according to his will, he hears us."
When we aim only to accomplish Him, 1 John 5:14 says, "If I had looked on vanity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened to me." We don't show zeal to help God in the answer. We expect our prayers to make God work for us. "This we command you: if anyone is unwilling to work, neither should he eat." 2 Thessalonians 3:10
When we have a resentment lodged in our heart, "Forgive us as we forgive others."
When we don't have high hopes for our prayers,
When we question the power of prayer, we doubt its effectiveness, and God doesn't act in doubt; he doesn't answer prayer without faith, because our lack of patience is a clear proof that we don't wait much for our prayers. When we ourselves try to say how God should respond, the only person we dictate laws to is the one we don't trust. "He simply wants us to leave our requests lodged in his mighty arms." Anyway, give up thinking: "The answer will take so long, that if it comes, I won't even enjoy it." Trust God, for he will answer at the most opportune time. You can be sure that when the answer comes, it will come in the form and time that will be most appreciated. If what you prayed for isn't worth waiting for, then it isn't worth asking for.

Prayer:
Lord my God, I want to acknowledge that I have been an unbeliever, that I have doubted your power and even given up on my petitions; forgive me and teach me to ask, teach me to act and wait on you, just as you taught me from the beginning, because while I wait, I want to praise you for my blessing already received, in Jesus name, amen.
