She held his picture close to herself.
Its two years now, he had left her.

She could vividly remember weeks
before her wedding, they were happily
eating in his house. His blue suit
caught her brain every moment, she
had on her finger the ring he gave to
her.
She remembered asking him if he
truly loves her. His captivating smile
took her on. He replied positively and
sat right beside her. Carresing her
side, he always get her point.
For once in her thoughts, she
wondered how he got himself so rich.
“Isn’t it marketting” How does he
makes millions monthly. She was
always scared to ask him about it.
She eventually summon courage and
asked him. Waited for a while, always
hitting his keys on his lap whenever
he is thinking. Her dad had told her
that, people who behaves like that are
smokers. She hated smokers, All the
way, if Max was one, she wouldn’t
hate him..
It was like taking years to answer the
question. He finally voiced out,” My
dad has an huge possession of
Diamonds”

She let out a relieving sigh, nobody
had to tell her to beleive him. She’ld
always beleive whatever it says.
She really love him, and had always
wanted the best for him. She
remembered kicking his head for
disvirgining her before their wedding.
She had wanted to keep her virginity
till her wedding night, since he says
he wanted it his way. She
succummed.
He was too close to her, she started
having the same feeling she had the
last time they wallowed in the abyss.
He took his hand close to her laps
and brushed it up. He hand brushed
his shoulders and they liplocked. He
made her stand up. They kissed for a
while. She took her hands and
unhooked her bra. The magnificient

would soon be back so she had to
tidy things up

It was their Wedding day. Carone had
woked up early that morning and
called Max. He told her the day before
that he’ld arrive five o.clock that
morning. His number was not going
through. She felt a cold shiver, she
still spoke with him hours ago. She
searched her phone book and dailed
his other number. It was the same.
She held it to herself, she didn’t want
to get anyone doubting.
“Congratulation Carone” The voice
came from outside her door. She
quickly went to open the door, it was
her Mum. She was in her pyjamas. In
her mid sixties, buh still very vibrant.
“Thank you mum”
“Have you spoken with him”
“Yes mum”
She took her bath, her friends came
by and greeted her. They got her
dressed.
It was nine o.clock, buh Max wasn’t
here. Her mum asked her if anything
was wrong, she replied that all was
fine.
“He’ll coming to church directly” She
said
“But that was not our plan”
“Mum, don’t worry”
The driver came, Carone alongside
her friends got into the car.

Today was supposed to be her
happiest day, but it turned out to be
the saddest.
Her phone rang, she checked the
caller, it was Max. She picked the call
that sent her to her COMA
.
How could this happen, Max laid on
his bed wounded to death..
