Me too... At least if it is a scam, none of us have really lost any money! The contract is on the ethereum blockchain, and a few tokens have started trading, but the big uncertainty at this point is whether the devs will follow through and keep their promises, as well as the question of user/investor adoption. Guess we'll see...
Well they use the facebook login and what i know not anyone can use facebook login user interface and i dont believe facebook will allow them to just scam people Facebook is a strong brand.
December is when the developers promise that the tokens claimed on facebook called POW 'lite' can be converted into the POW tokens that are on the blockchain. There are a few POW blockchain tokens already circulating, and a small number (compared to the amount being given to facebook clamiers) are for sale on Etherdelta right now. I wouldn't put a whole lot of confidence in the early prices though, since the volume is very low, and it's likely almost all the sell orders were put there by the founders, so until other people have tokens, they can set whatever prices they want to make it look attractive.
They also promised to reward people on twitter who retweeded promotions leading up to the launch with blockchain POW tokens, but most of those have not yet been paid. I made another post with more details about that here.
