RE: Positivity Challenge #4 – sorta, kinda, with a twist
The wisdom here is joy and gratitude. I spent a summer in Haiti taking care of tuberculosis patients who were dying because of AIDs. I spent some time in orphanages and some time in the mountain villages. The patients dying from TB in the Mother Theresa hospice were very thankful. The children in the orphanages clung to me and sang songs. The mountain kids begged me to play soccer with them. They had so little and no security for they were so close to death yet so close to life.
Thanks for sharing. I would resteem this post but I would like you to get some more steem from the post. It is definitely more than 7 days old. There is definitely wisdom in the post and it really didn't get many views although it got a lot of votes^^
The post also gives me an insight into the old days of Steemit. You basically kept your system going for a year.
I was lucky enough to be supported by some curation trails and some auto votes from followers back then. Now that I have more SP, I don't get those any more. But as you noticed, only a handful of people actually saw it. Maybe it's worth doing a new post and revisiting it.
