My review of Altpocket, a new Social way of Keeping track of your crypto investments
I have been looking for a good service to keep track of my various holdings. I used blockfolio running in an android emulator on my macbook to keep track for a while, but with the latest Blockfolio update it is no longer working properly. This how my search began for alternatives.
Nothing is quite perfect yet, but there is certainly something special about Altpocket.
It's got a very nice design and lets you log your individual trades, it even has API connections with many of the top exchanges. They are adding features all the time and the community is growing. You can follow other traders and investors and leave messages for each other, this could really be a great tool for the crypto enthusiast.
I keep my coins on different exchanges, some in hard wallets and some in different computer wallets. I need a way to kind of visualize what I have and how it is performing over time. Rumor is that the next feature to be added to altpocket is an in depth charting system for your portfolio history. This combined with the cool layout and community features makes this a really great product. And it's free to be used! They ask for donations and give out cool badges for those that do, but this looks to be a project being built out of love and I really like seeing that.
They even have a cool discord chat group for the community
