The only theory at the moment is that the solar gas falls towards the core of the sunspot and when it reaches the bottom of the spot, the gas rebounds, the spot is a little lower than the rest of the solar surface and in that rebound is when luminous shock waves are formed that propagate through the center in concentric circles, but it is a very rare phenomenon that still does not have a concrete explanation, this is simply a speculation that astronomers have, but they still do not know why this happens.
