MOTHER EARTH TO YOU...

Way back in 1973 I submitted an anti-pollution poem to my school magazine... Nothing happened and nothing has changed!
So here I go again...

( A poem by a concerned citizen of the world)

"Stop pollution for humanity's sake!
It's an intrusion of the highest make...

Oh Mankind can't you see what this world could be?
No more corporate apology
It's clear for all and me...
Change is all we want to see!"

    This is quite a moving poem. Followed, Resteemed and upvoted.
    I remember helping my boys make a documentary on pollution for school. They called it "Pollution Solution" They got full marks for it!

    Great poem. May I ask your approximate age at the time of the poem?

    There are so many changes that we could all make. I am an avid recycler.

    Some other things I do:

    1. All lighting in my home is LED
    2. I unplug all appliances, computers and cell phone chargers. I have taught my children the same.
    3. Wash and dry clothing early in the morning or late at night.

    These are just a few of the things I do.
