Center for American Progress is just an establishment propaganda machine, it isn't trustworthy.

The Center for American Progress, a "liberal" think tank controlled by a key player in the Clinton camp, Neera Tandan. If you don't know who she is, then you never looked at the Wikileaks emails that were released, she is on the inner circle of the Clinton Establishment class.  She is a atrocious person who is just fueling the partisan divide, and stole the mantel of leader of the Resistance, unknowingly that we are Resisting her too.  These type of Democrat operatives are the most divisive and are to blame for the failures of the Democratic party. They helped push the Bernie-Bro lines, they pushed the sexist narrative, the ignoring minorities narrative, helped fuel the Nevada convention conspiracy, refuse to stop taking corporate donations, and causing most the violent rhetoric about Trump and the GOP. The Center for American Progress resembles its leadership well, because these are the people who try to control society through fear and manipulation. She is a regular on CNN and pushing their conspiracies about Trump and the Russia Narrative, which Neera Tandan was part of that conversation. If there is anyone to blame for the election victory of Trump, Bernie being cheated, or the distaste and partisan rhetoric, then it is The Center for American Progress.

One key example of how they are divisive and controlling the narrative is when Tulsi Gabbard went to Syria and met with Assad, then sometime after announced she isn't taking Corporate money or Super-PAC money. The Establishment left went at her full force, Neera Tandan helped lead the charge. Of course, CNN was echoing the establishment class on disgracing Gabbard for trying to open up communication with Assad, instead of going into another disastrous war which Clinton clearly wanted. The likes of Howard Dean (Lobbyist for Health Care Companies) came out and aggressively attack Gabbrd. He claimed that "This is a disgrace. Gabbard not be in Congress" while Tandan smeared her account on the short CNN interview she had. Afterwords, when you read Tulsi Gabbard's reasoning, that we can't attack a sovereign country without international consent, otherwise it counts as a war crime, or the fact we couldn't confirm in the short time we had that it was even Assad. As the Center for Strategic & International Studies shows, there have been 161 chemical attacks in Syria since 2012, which proves Gabbard has a right to question the facts before attacking a sovereign country.

Now the Center for American Progress, one of the leaders in pushing the Russia conspiracy, released a 50-page report recently. It is literally just pushing the agenda by gathering all the useful data about what we know so far, and just making a media push to flash headlines. It is pushing the situation as "the biggest political scandal in American history" and saying its clear there was collusion with zero hard evidence.  For all the whining Democrats did about Benghazi or over ALL the Hillary scandals, they are creating a conspiracy story that has the potential of starting a massive war.  The fact we have zero real evidence in the public arena showing the DNC or John Podesta emails were hacked by Russian anyone, just shows the lack of credit these people have. Julian Assange, basically the most honest reporter in the world for more then a decade with a perfect record, has stated over and over again that It was not a Russian foreign actor, or anyone connected to the Russia Government. Of course Fox News just got caught in the Scandal about Seth Rich, but the biggest story out of this is that Democrats wont hand over the DNC servers to the FBI for some reason.  There is more evidence that Donald Trump committed crimes in his business career, like money laundering then actual evidence for collusion.  The largest problem with the Democrats and doing this, they are creating a hysteria around saving our Republic from the Russian Government, which is exactly like the Alt-Right. They are creating a massive nationalist sentiment that we are better then everyone else and we shouldn't be trifled with.

Now the CAP(Center for American Progress) is nothing compared to the Koch Network when it comes to political foundation, if you look at the top contributors in the political arena since 2011 you see the Koch Network connected people are nearly all at the top.  CAP is more of a strategy wing for the Establishment left, they do a lot of the polling and data for creating the conversation you will hear from the Democrats. CAP was founded by one of the swampyist people in all of politics in America, John Podesta. He served up until 2012, then Tom Perriello headed it, now Neera Tandan. They try to claim that they are a counterweight to the Heritage Foundation, and is trying to "support the progressive movement".  This organization is a Neoliberal powerhouse for the Democrats and pushed the ideology if anything, more conservative, especially now that Our Revolution is established and is ran by former Senator Nina Turner. Each year, CAP is becoming more well funded and up until recently they always tried to hide their top donors. They also were a key feature to the Obama rise, and Presidency, just like the conservative non-profit organizations will be to Trump.

In 2013, when they released their donors, it highlighted why these organizations shouldn't be trusted by the average American.

" The list provided by the CAP official does not include several companies that appeared on an earlier list. Such firms appear to have been targets for potential donations that were not reeled in. The companies gave a minimum of $10,000 each for a total of roughly 6 percent of CAP’s $40 million budget. Below is the full list as of Dec. 12, 2013:Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP

We also have a tax return from 2014 of CAP's, which shows that it is just another supposedly "independent" organization that is posing as something helped average Americans, but doesn't support the bold ideas its states. They are raising massive sums of money, that is being used to help market, and build the Neoliberal ideology that has dominated this country for over 40 years. They are exactly like the Heritage foundation, and others who claim to be building helpful policy that is target for the average middle class American.

  • They had a total revenue of $45,156,090
  •  They spent $17,908,686 on

"POLICY PROGRAMS: PROJECTS WERE CONDUCTED IN AREAS OF ENERGY AND THEENVIRONMENT, EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE, IMMIGRATION, OPEN GOVERNMENT,POVERTY, LGBT RIGHTS, AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS. IN ADDITION, THE ECONOMICPOLICY TEAM CONDUCTED PROJECTS RELATING TO MIDDLE CLASS ECONOMICS, TAXFAIRNESS, HOUSING, AND POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. CAP'S NATIONALSECURITY TEAM WORKED ON PROJECTS RELATING TO CHINESE AND MIDDLE EASTERNRELATIONS WITH THE U.S"

  • They also spent $5,642,844 on

"COMMUNICATIONS: THE COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ASSISTED THE WORK OF POLICYTEAMS BY              PROVIDING PRESS, COMMUNICATIONS, AND EVENTS SUPPORT. INADDITION, THE COMMUNICATIONS   TEAM PROVIDED GRANTS TO OTHERORGANIZATIONS TO FURTHER CAP'S MISSION."

  • They also spent $5,221,884 on

"EXTERNAL RELATIONS: PROJECTS WERE UNDERTAKEN TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC,POLICYMAKERS, OPINION LEADERS AND ADVOCATES; ANTICIPATE AND SHAPE THENATIONAL DEBATE; AND CHALLENGE THE MEDIA TO COVER THE ISSUES THAT TRULYMATTER THROUGH A WIDE ARRAY OF DISSEMINATION CHANNELS, INCLUDING FAITHCOMMUNITIES, CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS, PRINT, BROADCAST, AND ONLINE MEDIA.IN ADDITION, IT PROVIDED GRANTS TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO FURTHER CAP'SMISSION"

We see that for only $346,186 is what Neera Tandan made for only working on average 37 hours a week. Now of course if she committed on this there would be all types of excuses, it doesn't include how much she could make from CNN and other organizations she might make appearances for. How is this person suppose to relate to the average American person, especially if they are pushing policy that is recyclable from the past 37 years that obviously hasn't worked, American wages depressed, huge national debt, ineffectual programs, private prisons, and subsides that are drying up our country's wealth. Wealth inequality has gone out of control in this time period also, coincidence?

Organizations like CAP need to be called out for what they are, promoting corporate policies that hurt the average America. They might of hijacked the Resistance movement and keep pushing the Russia narrative. But the best thing the average American can do in this situation is Resist them too! Don't fall in like with their garbage, obviously if you are part of the GOP group think then you are also a problem. But for the independent thinkers trying to find truth in this political environment, understand Share Blue, CAP, and other establishment sources for Democrats are just furthering this partisan divide. They have done nothing but do exactly what the freedom caucus and Establishment Republicans did during Obama, cause farther partisan divide in the rank in file voters. The best thing anyone can do is learn on their own, from as many different opinions as they can, but just reading information connected to these organizations is going to help nothing but creating a farther divide in our politics. The only way forward to create real change, or to "Drain the Swamp" is to come together and make our voice loud and clear, that if you take Corporate money or Super-Pac money, then you will be replaced by somebody who is not. The first and largest step at taking our Democracy back isn't blaming Russia, or stopping Trump, but making public financing elections the number one priority.

Maybe one Trump just isn't enough. I'd give you a hat, but here's an upvote. Enjoy!

Well as I stated in this article, there is multiple versions of these in the GOP and so far they had massive influence in the Trump era, but thank you for the upvote :)
