only on newspaper pages.
Still the same old story...
a haunted horrific history.

Graves are still covetous.
They remain candidly conscious.
Guns without a conscience;
we are victims of an experience.

Poverty still prevails;
efforts to no avail.
Hunger harasses the masses;
still a distance between social classes.

Government, still insensitive.
Our leaders, purposefully primitive.
Selfishness on a sweet streak.
wickedness at a wild peak.

Tears still on a tireless tumble.
Sorrow has refused to be humble.
To every goose and gander,
this change is purely propaganda.
