The US government wants to ban the use of Huawei products and ZTE

What does it mean

The Act suggests that government agencies, authorities and agencies should be banned from using smartphones, telecommunications equipment and services from Huawei and ZTE.

What's the matter

The author of the bill states about the threat to national security: Huawei and ZTE are suspected of having links with the Chinese government. Companies allegedly share information with the authorities, and the use of their products in the US, thus, "will be an invitation to Chinese intelligence in all aspects of life."

At first the deal with the mobile operator AT & T failed, with the help of which they had to sell the flagship Mate 10 Pro in the States. Now, if the bill is adopted, it will be another blow to Huawei's prospects to enter the US market.
