African Leaders (why Africa is still in poverty)

SELFISH LEADERS.
Most African leaders rise into power with the aim of becoming rich. Africa has had leaders who entered politics with $1 and retired with a billion.
The issue has continued with the current ones and will continue as long as selfishness is not uprooted from the root.

CORRUPTION.
Corruption stands at the top of the list. Now corruption comes in many different ways. Corruption is abundant in Africa and it keeps increasing each day.
Government award themselves contracts and keep money circulating among themselves. They say you can't stop corruption but if Africa were to reduce it even by one percent, it would be one of the continents flying high. Just imaging, where does all those resources go.

LOVE OF MONEY.
Almost all the African leaders are into politics because they is a huge amount of money to be handled or should i say mishandled.
Africans have discovered what money can do and are eager to explore, they want to try out new negative things that do not involve development. They've forgotten the old saying "the love of money is the root of all evil"
They keep imposing taxes on people who can't even have a decent meal in a day and still rob them of the money for infastructure development.

EXPLORATION.
Most of them don't know what they are doing. They want to learn how to be a leader after being put into office. They are pushed around by rich and powerful men in society such that the views of the poor stop mattering.

CONCLUSION.
I've displayed these point in the simplest way possible. Tell me what you think in the comment section below! It is sad that people are suffering and barely have what to eat and others are merrying around with taxpayers money. Am grieved.
