Jezzer and May and the decentralised revolution (reformation)
I posted this around two months ago.
And I was wrong. Well actually I was spot on. but Jezzer didn't quite make it. Democracy is such a bitter pill to swallow. Especially in the UK: lets see what democracy meant this time round:
- Everything is pending the queens decision - the unelected queen that is - who also really has no decision.
- May continues to flourish with no majority, and never winning a vote to be prime minister (standing in for dodgy dave)
- Northern Ireland unionists are making deals with the nasty party and can pretty much hold the nation at its knees for its demands: that's right, in the UKs democracy a tiny proportion of people get to decide who gets to be prime minister and make a ransom list to them - which of course the power hungry nasty part will bow to.
- And to top all of, your vote doesn't count - not if you live in an area where people disagree with you - especially if that is northern ireland.
Still. I was right two months before the media caught up. I don't have a crystal ball - the media and politicians are out of touch. And so there are our reasons to be cheerful: a new era for politics, a new era for democracy - and bitcoin, and crypto, and blockchain, and steem... will flourish.
