The national nightmare is not over.

Biden and Harris have been a little better than I expected, but the Dems overall are worse.

Biden hasn’t reversed Trump’s vile trade and migration restrictions, and the Dems spent this entire election cycle ignoring the GOP’s assault on democracy and have no stomach to take on the Right’s violent culture war, focusing instead on imaginary differences in things like healthcare policy.

The GOP is going to win soundly on NSDAP’s 1932 Platform, and they’re stronger than ever. The Dems have entirely given up on GSM and POC rights, and have caved to book bans, legislation removing Holocaust instruction from curricula (or mandating Holocaust denial), along with instruction about America’s history of racism, and they’re handing over control of our electoral process to people who openly insist on rigging the elections.

Republicans are unsalvageable. Adopting fascist populism is a one-way street.

And without the Dems fighting back, more and more people are putting on brownshirts and red armbands. I mean hats. Red hats.
