France on the way to decriminalize cannabis - Macron takes away prison sentence for cannabis use.
France will introduce a law that will end prison terms for cannabis use. But consuming cannabis will still remain a criminal offence..
17 million French citizens have used cannabis at some point in their lives, and 700,000 used it daily. According to a survey in 2014.
It comes to no big surprise that a liberal president like Macron can see how bizarre the war on drugs and these draconian, medieval laws really are. But still, seriously, just legalize it already. Some politicians are such weak people in this regard and others.
However it is hard not to look good in regard of cannabisreform stepping in after the former president of France, the complete power tool and evil draconian socialist, Francois Hollande.
Hollande was such an utterly and completely fact resistant fool in regard of decriminalization and harm reduction policys at all that he would not even speak of it. He even caused problems withing his own political party for being such an idiot and rhetorical misfit. As I understand it, from what I read but I could be wrong. Think not.
