RE: Free The Weed - LaTonya Whittington - Executive Director Houston NORML
The drug war is in fact, as you put it, "a racist, criminal racket", I couldn't agree more, it needs to end. I am glad to see a recognition of a needed support from the black community for libertarian-ism. Two groups that have both been fighting for freedom for some time coming together is a great step in the right direction.
BTW @adamkokesh, @brutledge made a new post, I hope you are willing to support it. CLICK HERE to check it out. Thank you buddy & happy 4/20!
So true. Just think of the people affected and the jail population after the CIA brought cocaine into the country. It is pretty clear that this is and always was, a government play to control a segment of the population; take away their leaders, shoot them dead, destroy the family structure, destroy their economic prospects and leave people with no voting power. Adam knows from being a Marine that when you take away leadership from any unit, whether it be a military or family one, chaos will often erupt and a power vacuum will generate. It is sick and the War on Drugs is simply a War on Personal Choice which literally is #FREEDOM!
And they do this knowing full well the results of prohibition, waiting for us to tear each other apart, deplete our economics, and dull our sense of spirit so we do not rise up. MK Ultra practices helped assist the government in this evil transition, and the effects of which stretch deep into all the crevices of our society. Little by little, we must wake people up to this, and reverse these schools of thought into some that bring us closer to our natural existence, the way we were born to live, instead of the way we are conditioned to live.
So true my man. I think those of us on Steemit are the people that will change the world. I think it’s up to us. We need to take control back and wake others up and that takes effort and eternal vigilance. I am always ready to drop some truth so let’s knock down this system brick by brick, hearts and minds.
Our words and efforts will spur the inspiration for the development of technology to make these already outdated ways obsolete. Keep the speak up!
