Our next President will be a liar, though they are very different
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are both what I would consider pathological liars. However, they both take a very different approach to bending the truth. And their personality really shows through in their approach as Trump takes a bold and brazen approach while Clinton is a more sly and cunning character.
It's evident, though, that both are a product if a previous generation when video and documentation wasn't widely available. Until the widespread adoption of the smartphone, you could get away with bending the truth as any benefit gained would certainly outweigh the costs if you're caught. Information spread much more slowly and chances are many would never find out the truth. Grandpa Trump and Grandma Hillary are still living in 1990.
As I looked for the best examples of lies from each, one from Trump jumped out at me as probably his most bold lie yet.

100 million people saw him with the sniffles, and it's no big deal. To flat out deny it is making it a big deal. This type of brazen lie is a perfect display of Trump's take on the pathological liar.
Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, takes a much more calculated and sly approach, probably learned from her husband. She reveals just enough information to build a plausible reason and leaves enough wiggle room to change her story as more information is revealed. A perfect example is her infamous health issues on 9/11.
Her story changed 3 times as a video came out and as more and more attention was drawn to it. It's so bad that even though we may have the truth, it never really feels like it. She is certainly not as bold as Donald, and prefers to make slight adjustments to her story until it's generally accepted.
Two liars, two methods, two presidential candidates out of touch with reality.
