Louisiana Cajun Navy Help Group SHOT At By Looters While Rescuing People In Texas Flood

It's true that when catastrophe strikes we see both the best and the worst in people.
A call was sent out for assistance with rescuing flood victims, and The Louisiana Cajun Navy answered. They put their jobs on hold and dedicated the week to helping the people of Texas. While they were helping to rescue people a group of looters began shooting at them. Thankfully none of the rescuers were hit.

It made me think of this verse.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

The scriptures tell us that in the last days' things will wax worse and worse. The last few years have been some of the most unbelievable, and crazy times I've ever seen in my life. If things wax worse.

Now we see the kinds of things that happened in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and now we are witnessing it again in Texas. Now consider this.

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

As the love of many wax cold, as all of these events come onto the earth, it's not hard to consider what those days will be like.
