Meeting with Odessa residents and the 3rd time reschedule of Saakashvili's court hearing.

Ex-President of Georgia and former Odesa Regional Governor Mikheil Saakashvili met with Odesa residents on Thursday, January 18.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter:

The meeting was initially to be held at Black Sea Hotel, the administration canceled it several hours before the meeting, referring to difficult weather conditions.
One of the organizers told people who gathered at the hotel that the meeting had been moved to another venue - Gagarin Plaza Hotel. As a result, the meeting started at around 19.00.
From 100 to 200 political supporters of the politician gathered in the hall. Saakashvili started with the presentation of a film about Ukraine with his participation.
After demonstrating several episodes, Saakashvili began a speech in which he traditionally accused the current authorities of corruption, destruction of the state, etc.
About 40 minutes after the meeting began, the light went off in the hall. However, electricity supply was restored a few minutes later.
A teammate of the politician said that electricity had been turned off at the request of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).

Court hearing of Saakashvili was again postponed. The hearing was supposed to be held on January 19, 2018 but the dates were changed for the third time moving it to January 22.

The Kyiv Court of Appeal moves hearing on Saakashvili’s case to January 22. The complaint of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the measures of Mikheil Saakashvili, former president of Georgia and ex-Governor of Odessa Region, was restraint.
The Kyiv Court of Appeal postpones a meeting at which they were to consider the complaint of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the preventive measure against Mikhail Saakashvili, the former head of Odessa Regional State Administration, to January 22, Front News reported.
“It is due to the events connected with one of the judges,” – Saakashvili clarifies the situation. The former President of Georgia did not clarify the exact reason.

Mikhail Saakashvili is the leader of Ukraine's political opposition and the "Movement of New Forces".
Currently Ukrainian Government is trying to prove his guilt in cooperation with Pro-Russian Oligarchs, former authorities during Yanukovich's Presidency.
