Vile Scammer @officialracer Rips Off Dying Dog’s Cancer Fund for $300, Boosts His Greedy $170K Wallet—Polar Inu Betrayed
I’m part of the Polar Inu Ethereum community, a project raising funds to save Polar, a 10-year-old Siberian Husky fighting terminal cancer. We’re heartbroken to report we’ve been scammed, and I need to warn others and seek advice.
About six weeks ago, @officialracer joined our community and gained our trust. He seemed genuine, pointing out potential scammers in voice chats and offering strategic input, making us believe he cared about Polar Inu’s mission. But it was a facade—he deceived us into sending 0.15 ETH to a fraudulent Ethereum address he claimed belonged to Phocaine, the leader of their Discord group.
Here’s how he did it: @officialracer used multiple Telegram handles (likely all controlled by him) to create the illusion he was in contact with Phocaine. He forwarded an ETH address to me, pretending it came from Phocaine, but it was a setup. He first sent the address to himself from another Telegram handle he owned, then forwarded it to me from his personal Telegram handle (@officialracer), making it appear as though Phocaine had directly provided it. The 0.15 ETH was intended to fund a strategic partnership with Phocaine’s group, as outlined in our Steemit post (https://steemit.com/polarinu/@polarinu/polar-inu-eth-our-next-play-a-community-driven-cabal-to-ignite-momentum), to boost Polar Inu’s momentum, expand our Ethereum ecosystem, and secure resources for Polar’s critical cancer treatments (ketogenic diet, fenbendazole, ivermectin, guided by Dr. Thomas Seyfried and Dr. William Makis). Instead, it was stolen. In reality, the ETH address (0x49829cf9d49f3fbb5cf6914eec66bf6b235b509e) was his own wallet, and the funds were moved to another wallet (0xEbA88149813BEc1cCcccFDb0daCEFaaa5DE94cB1), now holding over $170,000 USD, tricking me into sending 0.15 ETH to him. Importantly, @officialracer never had an official Polar Inu Telegram handle; he operated solely from his personal account.

Our community feels deeply betrayed. We trusted @officialracer, but his sophisticated deception—leveraging that trust to scam us out of funds for a terminally ill dog—has left us devastated. This wasn’t a project wallet mishandling; it was a deliberate act to exploit Polar Inu’s mission, luring money to enrich his already substantial ETH wallet, stealing from a dying dog’s treatment fund. We’re forwarding this to ZachXBT and Coffeezilla for investigation, as I set up Polar Inu legitimately and won’t tolerate this fraud.
Has anyone else been scammed by similar Ethereum forwards or @officialracer?
Thanks for any support—our community’s resilience is crucial.
