RE: POKER FOR NEWBIES: PLAYING 1 FORMAT VS. MIXING

in #poker7 years ago

I agree its best to play one format only . For me that worked fine when I studyed at university and had a lot of time to play MTTs . Well now I have a fultime job so I don t have that much time to play , so I tryed something different that doesn t need that much time . I started playing cash , because I can end my sesion whenever I want , I had a nice winrate but it got boring very quickly. So I tryed something different , Spin & Go s , well they are not as boring as cash but still it s nearly the same everyday. I just miss the feeling of a deep run at a MTT , So for now I have one day a week, normaly Saturday where I play MTT and the other days I focus on Spins.

Seems like a good plan for someone who has job, I am heads up sng specialist but some weekends or when some series start I do play some mtts , deep run in mtt is really something special :)

yeah you can t get around SCOOP and all the series for sure ;)
