Charmander
My favorite pokemon has to be water type, I have always liked it especially because in all the games the first pokemon gym is rock type which helps a lot, so as I love water pokemon, I choose squirtle, it's a pokemon with much style and cry when ash let him go, his evolutions are not bad lose the charm of the little turtle but even so, I think every pokemon coach would love to have a blastoise on his team
I would choose bulbasaur because my heart dictates it. hahahaha Bulbasaur
unlike the other Pokémon, is kind to everyone, is the strongest initial Pokémon, considering the type of creatures that Brock and Misty use in their gyms. In addition, its aesthetics go far beyond this era
I chose Bulbasaur, because I really like plant type pokemon. Also, I really like his design, and I like how the flower on his back grows as he evolves. I like how he attacks, and his special moves that can sleep or paralyze enemies. I also feel bad that most don't chose him or hate him, because he is really cool!
Squirtle - it's the best choise. Squirtle is very strong against Pokémon of fire, earth and rock.
I always wanted to try unique picks, so since charmander was so popular (and cause of the episode of the Gang Squirtles) i picked Squirtle to be main 1st pokemon.Also i didnt evolve him until i could evolve to blaistoise in 1 level more, since i didint like that much the 2nd evolution

Because when its evolve to Charizard you got Flying/Dragon/Fire type Pokemon. Strong and Usefull
i think you should use charmander, pro because yes he kicks butt in the first gym and also because you start out a lot in the grass, he can easily wipe out those grass pokemon as soon as he learns any fire moves, i have never played with bulbasaur, and squirtle is kind of hard to play with in the beginning because the water moves only help the grass pokemon but cons of not picking squirtle is you cant get him in the game unless you choose him and he is awesome pokemon(unless you have action replay, i suggest you get action replay and have them all ;)) there are codes on action replay that you can type in and have any pokemon you want
Squirtle because of his role in the closing ceremonies of the Olympics.
I go for Squirtle because he is cute and I like color blue which happen to be his color. I like the element Water and Squirtle is a water type. Lastly I love turtles, they are very cute yet very fragile although they have a strong shell still I find them fragile.
