the balcony large,
over the lands
he controlled
with an iron fist
a swelling bruise
bone shown
from beneath the mask
a skull in
human form

the name given
by his dark father
the previous lord
of the lands
Dante
known to all
as the killer king

the situations
he created
wild
insane
irreverent
diseased
to the core.

so they left him
on that balcony
forever to see
but never to rule
again.
