🌷My favorite poet this month is Elizabeth Barrett Browning 🌷
Elizabeth Barratt Browning was born on March 6th, 1806 in a small little town in England known as Coxhoe Hall. Elizabeth began writing verses at the age of four. She was a precocious child who enjoyed picnics, walks alongside her family, and reading books. Her books gave her refuge and solace from the daily rituals of life and family. At the age of six years old she began to write poetry. Her mother began a collection of her poetry and Elizabeth is known to have one of the largest collections written by any youth. Her work was favored in Britain and in the United States.

Face to face, silent, drawing nigh and nigher,
Until the lengthening wings break into fire
At either curved point, what bitter wrong
Can the earth do to us, that we should not long
Be here contented? Think. In mounting higher,
The angels would press on us and aspire

Thanks I didn't know that Steemit had rules that said we couldn't introduce ourselves to new users. If someone new on the network is looking for potential friends on Steemian are we not able to market our material, work, and content to them? This seems a bit unfair especially since our material can be overlooked with the millions of post per second. Can we use the introduce myself hashtag? I mean we should be able to introduce ourselves to other Steemit users. Many Blessings,
