RE: Life & Death Haikus: Use This Day To Praise The Lord (Original Poem)

in #poetry7 years ago

Very interesting food for thought. I want your take on what is considered a celebration. My church meet on Good Friday and the Easter Sunday, on both those days we have a normal church service. The Word/Sermon is obviously centered around the crucifixion. Waiting to Hear.

Well celebration of pagan holidays means partaking and commiting acts of these traditional and pagan rituals and doing things God didn't intend for us to be involved in. Any day is a great day to celebrate the Lord, and we must indeed center ourselves around The Word, I can't speak on Good Friday or Easter Sunday because anything that is accepted by the world like Easter Christmas Halloween and what not seemingly are rooted in pagan roots and are often misdirections from what we should be honoring. Thanks for your patience

Thank you very much for your reply.
