I Was Busy,
Staring At My Screen All Night
I Had Just One Thought In My Mind,
How Do I STEEM Right?
It Seemed Like I Wasnt Doing Anything,
Anything Right
Then I Stumbled On Something
A Video From @Jetiknight.
Then My Question Was Answered:

Then I Realised My mistake

Seriously, this is blowing me away right now. I made that video just to get my thoughts out on how awesome it would be for people to simply be themselves, and the reaction to this has been more than I actually anticipated. I feel like I touched people tonight, and at the same time even underestimated my own message regarding the importance of being yourself and how that can impact others. Wonderful poem Sammy. This is for sure being upvoted and resteemed. You also got a new follower and a steem friend! Great work! I will do a video on this tomorrow. It's super late my time and Im excited enough to do the vid now, but I need to call it a night. This was indeed a Steemit night never to forget!
The thing is , Until i saw your video, i was getting it all wrong. I was told to post cool stuffs and follow trending people; I should be creative and all.
But Steemit is a network to connect people to others and it shouldnt be about your estimated account's worth. And your reputation.
Your video showed me that Being yourself is key to success in Steemit.
And I am really glad i saw your video and having you as my First steem friend.

When you dont worry about the success and you work on yourself, then your inevitable success will be nothing more than the byproduct of you working to make yourself better. Never rush that process. Im glad I was able to provide something that was valuable to you bro. The reaction from people like yourself has been more than awesome!

Life does have its ways of working out doesnt it. I've spent hours writing back everyone who comment, yet never had to once "manufacture" my words just to get the attention of a whale. Everything that I've written the past 2 hours has all been based on genuine engagement of the community. That's exactly what Steemit needs. If not, this will end up being another facebook. That's the last thing we need.
