A Poem For The Living Life
Living life instead of life living you,
The illusion is there for those-
That can't live it through.
Happiness is earned,
A gift of the most fragrant scent.
A soulful life well spent,
I take my refuge in:
A natural law that can’t be bent.
Above and aloof,
The firmament and skies,
The acts of dharma-
Thine heart will arise.
Could summertime bloom,
Within the flower and it’s seed.
Love abides by those-
Forever in need.
How can one be lost?
If we suggest,
Entangled in thine mighty eyes,
An emotion at best.
How can one be found?
Desolated in a crest,
Could you ever decide?
Where stars are at rest.
