ODE TO VALENTINE'S DAY

Its the day the florist tells me
And the chocolate companies too,
to go out and buy things
for that special you know who.

Some say it's marketing
and others it's a ploy,
another way to make money
besides selling Christmas toys.

But I am not cold hearted
nor see it that way.
Its just a great opportunity
to say what we always should say.

I just have a dilemma
because I love to two different gals.
So I love you my dear wife
And I love you my dear sales.

So sorry no candy or flowers
On this Valentine's Day,
But I wrote you this poem
Its much cheaper this way!

So Happy Valentine's Day
to one and to all.
Should of bought flowers,
Cuz all this poem will get me
Is a kick in my pants.
