It’s too late for me to hate
On love’s highway I navigate
All bitterness I threw out of the gate
All God’s blessings I appropriate
For the love He showed on the cross I appreciate
It’s too late for me to hate
On love’s highway I navigateThe love of God is shed abroad in my heart
I have a happy heart
I’m yet to see a person I hate

I don’t repay evil for evil, I don’t hate
‘Cos I’ve got a relationship with God, which is intimate
So no matter what anyone does I can’t hate
For its too late for me to hate
On love’s highway I navigate
- God’s love for me is so great
He loved me even when I was an ingrate
For my sins with His son’s life He paid
So in the same way, I went on my knees and prayed
For enemies who show so much hate

Is no human love
It is love from above
That’s why I love the way I love
For its too late for me to hate

For God is love
And He lives in me
