A Reckless Heart

We shared a rose’s thorn; no shred of scorn,
We strayed far to the sun; no scathing burn.
Through thick forest we run; no blade nor gun.
Then furiously they warn; our hearts will worn,
The game can’t be won; their fears, we’re withdrawn.
Then let’s burn, for this reason we were born.

Our rejected love, time and space endure,
Our reckless hearts, trust and courage procure.
For we are savages who gives and take,
Foul demons, Vampires who dread the stake.
Better days thought forged by the fallen knights,
Battered and devoured by mists of cold nights.
Such thoughts now illusions haunts the land,
Such hope for hope drifts hopelessly in sand.
