The rose that grew from concretesteemCreated with Sketch.

Everyone has felt like they’ve hit rock bottom. That doesn't mean that you should lay there trapped in a cage of your own failure. You need to fight, fight like you’re fighting for your mother’s life. Fight like if you don’t, your fists will fall off. Fight like the rose that grew from concrete.
In the poem “The rose that grew from concrete”, Tupac Shakur uses metaphors to help the reader understand that, in order to reach or even exceed your goals, you need to work very hard.
In the lines”Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete”. Tupac explains how a rose grew from concrete. Roses are supposed to grow from the dirt. Being that dirt is soft and natural, it’s easier to sprout out of. Dirt represents an easy, original and simple life. But that specific rose, that beautiful extraordinary rose, THAT rose. That rose grew from concrete. Concrete with rocks and cement in it. Possibly glass. The concrete represents the hardships in life such as poverty, famine, war, deaths and much more. Even though many people go through very similar things and give up, that rose keeps on going.
“ Did you hear from the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature’s law wrong it
Learned to walk without feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
When no one else cared”
-Tupac Shakur
This is all you need to hear to start getting your life off the floor. This is all the soul needs to hear to start wanting to push through whatever hardships blocks their way, to breathe fresh air. The only difference between the person we all see in the mirror and this rose is that someone does care. Someone always cares about whether you’re alive or just another body laying still in the gutter.
In the line “it learned to walk without feet” Was talking about how it did the impossible. We are all capable of walking without feet, some of us don’t even know what walking is. But I can’t be the one to tell you. We will all know eventually in our life what walking is. But there is a downside to walking forward, someone will always be with you trying to trip you. There will always be someone in front of you kicking dust your face but the bright side is, there will always be someone by your side watching back and front and making sure you can get back up if you fall.
You can be just as strong, vibrant, colorful and hopeful as the rose that grew from concrete.

Have a great day guys.

The riddle of the day is: 2 men walked into a bar, they both ordered ice tea. The first man drank his beverage quickly and the other drank it slowly, the second man died from poisoning but both of the drinks were poisoned. What happened and how did the man die?

Clearly, one of the drinks also had the antidote in it. World's easiest riddle.

Haha it's funny how you got the worlds easiest riddle wrong :)

The poison was in the ice.

Aaaaaah you knew this one. they're gonna get harder

No, I did not know it. It took me a long time to discover the solution.
