They can't be like him
Who came and took our place
In everything except in sin.
They can't be like him
Who made the finest wine?
And gave them all to drink.
They can't be like hin
Who saved an incorrigible whore?
From condemnation for guilt
They can't be like him
Who made the lame to walk?
The Dead to rise and the
Blind to see, all he did gratis.
They can't be like him
Who multiplied five loaves?
And two fishes and
Gave the hungry to eat.
They can't be like him
Who at the mention of
His name demons and
Their master bow shirking
They can't be like hin
Whose life was exchanged?
With Barabas' by the
Pharises and chief priest
They can't be like him
Who saved a condemned criminal
From surging forward to Hell-pit
They can't be like him
Who gave his life in antonement
For our sins.
They can't be like him
Who defeated death and
Opened the gate of heaven
For all men to go in.
