LIFE AS A TWO WAY COIN
What's the purpose of being happy when it won't be an happily ever after; but would you rather be sad?
What's the purpose of having friends when you can't share your thoughts with them; but would you rather have them as foes?
Tell me what's the fun of being rich when you won't take them with you when you die; but would you rather be poor on earth?
What's the purpose of eating when we'll still pass them out as waste; but have you tried going hungry?
All these are just my mere pondering but you can forgive my ignorance,
The more I try to get it out of my head the more it comes back,
You might label me a pessimist, but what has optimism offered you?
Is it the lie you tell yourself when you're hurt but still claim to be alright?
Is it the lie you believe that everything will be alright without seeing an iota of change?
You see life is a two way coin, it's either you pick the head or you go with the tail,
You don't get to pick until the coin is flipped, so the result can't be rigged,
The more lies you tell yourself the farther you fall into oblivion,
The earlier you accept the truth, the better your chances of changing the end result.
