THE FARMERS

Heroes are the farmers.....
The mighty toilers of the fertile
And the barren land.
Supply their bountiful harvest
To the rich and to the poor,
In the barrios and in the cities,
Answering the demands of the nation,
For food production making the life
Of everyone better and happier.

In the burning sunlight and in the heavy rainfall,
Continuing your work, ignoring them all.
In your mind you heed the nation's call,
The abundant harvest you think always,
To solve our country's problems
In rice and corn harvest.

Farmers are the heroes.....
Making our countryland a happy one
Everyone lives in a happy home,
Full of love, care and concern,
All of these we owe.....
To our mighty farmers in the land
We give you praises and great thanks.
