Incorporeal stripes

An arctiid fever dream
Crawling damp from hematite tombs,
to fiend on invisible ragwort
waving down from the nightmarish looms.

A tiger reposed on the precipice
poised to crush internecine writs—
To feast, pyrrolizidine progeny
on decaying, fermented leaf-grits.

Numb-spun in centrifugal lurches
through worlds built on skeletal thought,
Space larvae with alkaloid armor rise
to sew interspersions of rot.

Rectangular streams distort
across curvilenear paths to glee;
I'm a colorblind, tigrine dragon
exhuming ice-tomes of neptunian sea.

Sort:

very good esoteric poem although it is short does not open much imagination.

I feel that the images of dreams carry and give life to this abstract poem, as abstract as the images of "Heavenriver" that accompany it very well and serve as a complementary inspiration. The "disembodied fringes" are made up of remnants of reason combined with sensations extrapolated to other cosmic places distorted by lack of understanding or by the little need for understanding or use of reason. The primordial thing is to feel, to give body to the colors that seek to identify with known and unknown forms. Exploration of extrasensory communication that, in turn, creates new senses to capture, process and digest everything that is occurring in the loom of the mind subjected to the translation of the induction of sensations, rather than logical thoughts. In this there is no logic, only feeling.

Is this artificially generated? With an algorithm?

Requires a search in sciences to understand fully and am only mathematically inclined lol

Greeting, @d-pend.
This one is as hallucinating as the images that accompany it.
Some say the prophets had their visions under some kind of spell; probably induced by drugs or poisonous beverages. I guess this is the closest we can get to that state of mind. Cosmic insanity.
A material, scientifically tangible world explained through incorporeal metaphysical conundrums.
The stripes of the tiger as signs of authority that come from above.
The fierce prophet that comes down the mountain

to crush internecine writs—
To feast, pyrrolizidine progeny
on decaying, fermented leaf-grits.

How much can be built with "interspersions of rot"?
How much do we owe to destructive scriptures or destructive science?
Which one leads us to "paths to glee"?
The truths of interred wisdom, whether earthly or otherwise, cannot be revealed to blind eyes.

I only eat PIE thank you!

  • @d-pend Dear friend I like it when you mention in the first part a fever dream, tracking the humidity of the graves. I like the way you write and the way you spin your stanzas. Because you make us live the story you are telling us through beautiful poetry. I want to write as special as you do, my friend. The very elegant images with impregnating colors that make our beautiful eyes fall in love and I hope you enjoy a nice night. Dear friend who loves good writing in poetry.

Hi @yeninsfer, thanks for the kind remarks! I’m glad you enjoyed the poem and visual art. Have a wonderful night, too!

This poem has many scientific references. I like it a lot. "An arctiid". A bear?

Hey @marcusantoniu26, indeed there are a lot of science references in this piece. Actually, Arctiinae is a large subfamily of moths, the best-known of which is the so-called "Tiger moth." Regarding the pyrrolizidine alkaloids referred to, they are toxic compounds present in many plants including ragwort that function as a defense against predators. Arctiids are capable of retaining these compounds in their body for the same purpose.

Thanks for the clarification!

nice poetry with the beautiful pics
