Black and White

Everything turned black and white when I realised i had no rights

Perspectives changed, subjectivity became less of a liability

See it for what it is

We are in the same boat but with different ideas of which way to row

We are alive but forgotten

We are gone but immortal

I don’t want to see in colours anymore.

I don’t want to lie to myself.

Despondence has become my shield

Stoic to the belt, I feel no pain.
