"Crushed" A Poem by me

My heart longs for you
but you seem out of reach.
My soul needs you,
Without you it would be difficult to live.
I need you by my side,
But the courage to tell, I can't find.
I walk alone feeling empty,
But it's all because I choose to be.
Everyday I make a plan to make you mine,
But the man to act is on the other side.
A fool who loves only at heart,
That's what I am.
Though we smile and hold hands,
I may never be your right hand man.
