We started this arduous journey together

Toiling of gigantual proportions

Our intent were like bean seeds in a pod

Fantasies of triumph to energize our beingness

Trudging along the path of destiny

Instance of gloom intertwined with that of lumen

Dancing into the wee hours like two king cobras

Obscurity seems to take the upper hand

Succumbing to the shadows cannot be contemplated

Crown of the victor was our only solace

Forging ahead like turtles in the depth of the abyss

Eager to bask in the euphora of the light

Sharks and pods of Orcas in our path

Stealthiness and numbers is our strength

Our foes zeroed in on us

To snuff the breath out of us

I had faith in us

Together we shall ride to glory

A moment of desperation changed our destiny

You shoved me towards our adversary

Cry of horror

The enemy had a firm grip on you

In a twist of fate you saved me

The look of guilt in your eyes

Dragged back into the cold confinement of the abyss

Not the closure we hoped for

This is what you cherished

The shores of refuge

The lights of a new dawn
