ENDLESS DESTINATION
Early in the morning
At the first cock crow
I rise up to begin my journey
A long day awaits
I boarded the bus of life
Headed nowhere
Knowing that somewhere
Or rather anywhere
I'll later alight
My co-passengers were people like me
Honestly sincere
Tenaciously hardworking
hoping to get somewhere in life
Or anywhere will do
But Alas! It is a great loss
That a generation so endowed
Lacks the power of purpose
With a great zeal
And ardent determination
We embarked on our journey
Going somewhere
We wandered anywhere
With nowhere in mind
Planning to reach everywhere
We continued our deneuve
To an endless destination
