Conscience; a great judge

in #poetry5 years ago

Conscience, the great judge!
I lie when you prick my heart:
I pilf when* you throb*;
Maybe when I'm older,
You will be no more.images (53).jpegsource

Conscience, the judge!
As i grow, you grow,
There to knock
When decisions unwise l make.

Conscience, thou art a great Judge!
You judge the poor and the rich alike.
Never impartial with the old or young,
Princes, princesses owe their rest to your mercy.

Conscience, I've learnt to feel your presence-
Whoever heed you, 'l never fault;
Defy you and end up in a vault of troubles;
Whoever have you not is better a dead man.

When you have no conscience, you are evil in human flesh,
When you have noting to keep you in check then you are dead meat. center

If your conscience is death
Do make sure to restore it,
As part of it is human in disguise.
