In this series of poems, I'll gather the great philosophical poet, known as Khayyam's poems
his poetry is simple, short and deep




Drunkards are doomed to hell, so men declare,
Believe it not, 'tis but a foolish scare;
Heaven will be empty as this hand of mine,
If none who love good drink find entrance there.

گویند مرا که دوزخی باشد مست
قولیست خلاف دل در آن نتوان بست
گر عاشق و میخواره بدوزخ باشند
فردا بینی بهشت همچون کف دست


A brief info on poet :

Omar Khayyám, was a Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential thinkers of the Middle Ages. He also wrote numerous treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, astronomy and music.
